The Prunotto Mariangela Agricultural Company , always in Alba , the "capital" of the Langhe, has been cultivating its land for over 15 years with the method of ORGANIC FARMING and makes use of the assistance and control of the production of Soil and Health, famous and serious certification body. Organic agriculture is a production method that involves the adoption of techniques compatible with environmental conservation and food safety through the rational use of pesticides and fertilizers and agronomic control of the entire production process. The final product is therefore without any residue of synthetic pesticide. The natural fertility of the soil is exploited favoring it with the rotation of the crops (therefore the same plant is avoided to be cultivated on the same ground for several production cycles in order to be able to use the nutrients of the soil in a more rational and less intensive way), fertilization is made for over a decade only with Humus (substance that derives from a process of decomposition and completely natural reworking whose main proponents are earthworms).
