At BWS we do more than just show up for work. We make ‘today special’ for our team members, our customers and each other. We like to think of ourselves as a bit different from other liquor retailers...in fact we like to think we're different from ALL other retailers. We're spontaneous, we're fun, we like to surprise, we have a laugh whenever and wherever we can and best of all, we don't take ourselves too seriously.
But we do take customer experience seriously!
Being authentic, focusing on great prices, creating real value and delivering an easy, enjoyable store experience for our customers are all really important to our people. We know that our customers see us as their local bottle shop too, so we stop at nothing to make sure offer a great tailored range that meets the needs of our local communities we serve. After all, we started as a local neighbourhood bottle shop back in 2001 in the Sydney suburb of Cabramatta, so keeping things 'local' is familiar territory for us!
As they say, from little things, big things grow! As part of the Woolworths Liquor Group, we're now the largest liquor retailer in Australia, and have over 1200 stores in every state and territory in the country. We employ over 7000 team members who work across a variety of roles including sales, customer service and management positions so diversity is quite simply, part of our DNA. We make sure our teams come first so they can put customers first, and we back this up by a genuine commitment to industry best practice training and development.
