About you
We have an opportunity for a Java Full Stack Developer to join our applications team!
In this key role you’ll be responsible for developing effective web and mobile applications. Drawing on your previous experience working across various frameworks you will collaborate with other teams to develop applications and tools that impact the efficiency of business processes.
Your innovative solutions to web design issues will improve the user experience. With the needs of your internal customers in mind, you’ll implement responsive web design principles to ensure our internal applications run smoothly across multiple devices.
Whilst you will set your own objectives and design frameworks for creating user apps we may also call on your expertise to assist in the development of applications and features which will be added to the in-house applications via desktop and mobile. And in between all that is the fun stuff, coding, building, debugging and deploying applications on premise and on the cloud, and ensuring our code repository is maintained through source code management.
Along with a tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field, and at least 4 years’ experience in web development, you’ll come to us with a thorough understanding of various frameworks and languages such as SQL, Java Core, Spring, Hibernate, REST Web Services and AngularJS or JavaScript. It will be advantageous if you come to us with cloud experience such as Azure or AWS and mobile app development experience.
