The Role
In the role of Executive Assistant to the Assistant Secretary, you will be required to undertake duties as outlined below:
Perform ‘front of office' support functions, including greeting visitors, receiving and responding to phone calls, emails, general correspondence and maintaining records systems.
Deliver executive support including managing appointment diary and meeting arrangements and utilise information available to prepare briefing packs, reports and papers for senior Defence meetings.
Arrange, coordinate and reconcile domestic and international travel for the Assistant Secretary and assist in providing finance support, in line with Defence policy.
