UGL's Transport & Technology business have experience growth within our locomotive build division based at our operation in Broadmeadow, Newcastle NSW and we are looking for Trades Assistants to join the team.
These roles will be offered on a 12 month fixed term contract under UGLs Newcastle Operations Enterprise Agreement working Monday – Friday from 6.00am – 2.30pm on a 40 hour work with monthly RDO.
About the role
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager this role will see you working in our locomotive new build team assisting various trades, Mechanical, Electrical & Fabrication, maintaining workshop clenliness and general work shop duties as required
About You
Fork Lift Licence
Overhead / Gantry Crane Experience - Competent
Dogging and Rigging ( Desirable )
Traffic Controller ( Desirable )
Heavy Industry Experience
Proactive and Enthusiastic
Willingness to Learn
Ability to learn and understand Parts and Documentation
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
