Commercial Director – Major Projects
Our Projects division has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Director for Transport Major Projects. You will lead all aspects of the project commercial function, whether this is a joint venture between UGL and other associated entities, or as a stand-alone construction contractor.
You will drive the maximisation of project margin and mitigation of risk through robust pre-contract review and negotiation; and post-contract administration of all head contract, joint venture and sub-contract commercial matters including payments, securities, disputes and guidance to project team members on obligations and rights.
About you
You have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in Tier 1 construction or engineering firms in commercial/contract management roles within projects environment, including negotiation of contracts, contract management and dispute resolution.
You have 3 years’ experience as Commercial Director for major infrastructure projects and/or PPPs.
You have led a team of commercial resources, managing pre-contract negotiations and post-contract administration.
You have a degree in Law, Finance, Quantity Surveying and/or Engineering discipline.
