Our purpose in the B&PB Data and Analytics team is to develop and deliver the best in class customer analytics experiences and operational excellence for our Business and Private Banking customers and colleagues - seamlessly and reliably every time. We are passionate about simplicity and meeting the needs of our stakeholders, whilst innovating to drive value.
We are building a new and exciting capability to be world leading in banking analytics and are seeking Senior Data Analysts to work within one of our teams. You will be involved in identifying opportunities to support our customers and business goals, as well as taking on various regular tasks that support the team. Collaboration with peers, other analysts and wider stakeholders will be key. There is also the opportunity to work alongside key strategic partners and to gain exposure to broader analytics and data science work.
Your role will undertake the following activities:
Source data from a variety of sources to combine, synthesise and analyse to generate insights
Address and solve complex business issues using large amounts of data
Quickly understand the behaviour (expected/unexpected) of large data sets
Draw out insights and present outcomes for data driven decision making
Clearly communicate and present ideas and outcomes to stakeholders
Work with analytics partners to provision data and shape insights
Actively participate in stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Showcases and Retrospective ceremonies
