About Department
The Healthy Aging Service Response (HASR) hub will operate from St. George’s in Kew and work closely with Aged Mental Health service staff at St. George’s.
Due to the catchment area for the service, there will be outreach offices at alternate locations and some travel between sites will be involved.
About The Role
You will provide efficient administrative support to the HASR team and the Aged Mental Health service. Administrative functions such as managing outpatient operations, appointment bookings, telephone enquiries, audio typing, data entry and medical record maintenance will be a part of the administrative assistance role. You will also perform telephone reception duties in a courteous manner to a broad population of elderly people, their carers and families, professional staff and community services.
The classification for this position will be YC88 ($58,442 per annum pro rata)
Duties
Provide administrative and reception functions as directed by Team Leader.
Assist with the day-to-day communication and administrative processes of the Aged Mental Health service.
Maintain databases, ensuring medical information and data entry are timely and accurate for DHS statewide (RAPID/CMI), hospital (PAS), Primary Health Network and local databases
Generate required reports / lists to aid the running of the service.
Assist in developing common administrative policies, processes and systems.
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
Completion of Year 12 or equivalent literacy and numeracy
