About The Company
St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) is part of St Vincent’s Health Australia and a leading teaching, research and tertiary health service which employs more than 6,500 staff across 18 sites throughout Melbourne. About The Department
SVHM provides care to over 200 residents at our suite of Residential Aged Care Facilities in Collingwood, Richmond and Kew, including people with complex care need, aged mental health conditions and a history of homelessness.
About The Role
In this role you will be responsible for implementing an effective business model to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of residential aged care services business functions, systems and processes. You will seek and maintain continuous improvement focus to meet the changing operational needs of the service.
This classification for this role is HS4, however is remunerated between $120,000 - $130,000 per annum depending on the level of experience of the successful applicant.
Duties
Oversight and management of business functions of the service including administration of the aged care funding and legislative requirements
Develop residential aged care business plan and lead implementation focused on performance improvement
Review and update business systems and processes to align with operational requirements
Proactively identify opportunities through undertaking regular audits and data review to target clinical areas requiring intervention for improvement
Work in partnership with the operational manager to develop required proficiency of staff in ACFI requirements that ensures alignment of clinical care provision, documentation and ACFI assessments.
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
Demonstrated leadership skills in business or heallthcare setting
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Residential Aged Care setting and aged care funding
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in an environment of change and development
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
