About The Opportunity
A challenging, permanent opportunity for a Head of Delivery, Digital Health Services has risen within Bupa. This position can be based either in Melbourne or Sydney.
This position will aim to lead the digital delivery team and portfolio for Health Services 80% and Aged Care Australia 20% to achieve key digital capabilities.
Reporting into the Director of Technology, Health Services and Aged Care Australia, this role will managed up to eight direct reports across the Digital Development team, Portfolio/Project Manager and Business Analyst(s).
Responsibilities
The primary focus being successful delivery of Technology, Digital and Business programs of work within expected scope budgets and timelines, the other main responsibilities will include
Successful delivery of Technology, Digital and Business programs of work within expected scope budgets and timelines.
Collaboration on the digital technology strategy, roadmaps and architecture framework and delivery across the portfolio of businesses.
Managing, mentoring and up skilling a talented team, consisting of technical digital focused development roles.
Managing, mentoring and up skilling a talented team consisting of Project Manager(s), Business Analyst Leads, Business Analysts and Change Managers.
Release Estimation and Resource Management for capacity teams on key deliverables and backlogs.
Managing key vendor relationships.
Working with key business stakeholders and project sponsors to manage expectations and outcomes, key project milestones and delivery deadlines.
Working closely with the Heads of Technology and Business stakeholder is each business unit, on business requirements and outcomes and end to end to digital and technology roadmap.
Deliver the capability and integration roadmaps and content experience maturity framework to deliver personalized content for customers across our digital channels.
Work closely with the various digital, technology and business teams on portfolio management.
Ensure appropriate agile and project methodologies are enabled with clear business and project requirements.
Be responsible for service levels and operational impacts improvement including backlog or enhancement which improve product performance.
Deliverable: Legal and regulatory compliance, adherence to internal operating procedures together with the management of business risks is the responsibility of every Bupa employee. You are required to comply with Bupa’s risk and compliance policies, procedures, frameworks and regulatory requirements, as they apply to your specific role at Bupa.
Deliverable: Ensure that Bupa Australia’s Health & Safety policy and associated policies and procedures are effectively implemented to minimize risk and to provide employees with a safe working environment and safe systems of work.
Knowledge And Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience in a customer centric digital capacity in Retail, Financial services, Healthcare or other relevant industries.
Experience in Full Development Stack, Customer Relationship Management, Content Management and Ecommerce technologies which enable a compelling simple customer journey.
You have deep expertise and knowledge of the digital and data domain with 10+ years of experience
You have 5+ years of experience leading Architecture design for digital technology focused business
Experience in various agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and other project methodologies.
Team and people management of a digital development team and business engagement teams to deliver a robust digital and data capability including day to day support.
Previous exposure to working with Human Centered Design concepts, customer experience, Marketing and business growth teams
Demonstrated grasp of strategy development techniques and ability to work effectively with professional business strategists.
Commercial acumen in the context of business growth, with an understanding of technology strategies relative to commercial risk and reward (e.g. build vs buy vs partner etc.)
Experience working within matrix structures, with demonstrated ability to broker outcomes effectively and collaboratively with colleagues and peers.
Experience working within innovation-centric environments, e.g. within entrepreneurial technology organizations or agencies/consultancy.
This role is seeking a versatile Digital Technology Leader with exceptional commercial acumen and engagement skills. Proven experience, managing and building teams and portfolios is a MUST and so, is the experience with Lean methodologies as this role is requiring someone who can instill nimbler/unambiguous ways of doing things via Lean Operating Models.
